Staff Sgt. Jasmine McCarthy is a mass communications public affairs non-commissioned officer with the 100th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, Texas Army National Guard. She enlisted on August 14, 2014, and previously served as a Signals Intelligence Analyst until the summer of 2022 when she embarked on a new journey within public affairs.
She currently supports as a content creator and a team lead for the 1st Cavalry Division, forward in Europe. Her notable assignments include covering a division change of command ceremony, several local community relations events in Poland, joint command post exercises with NATO allies, large scale training events like E3B, and multiple video projects for both observance months and day-to-day testimonies of Soldiers on why they choose to serve.
Staff Sgt. McCarthy is an avid writer, and she enjoys engaging in multicultural events and bringing awareness to the diversity of the United States military.
