Joint Task Force Carson Performance Triad 26 Week Health Challenge.
Col. Sims, 4th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Carson chief of staff, has challenged The 4th Inf. Div. staff to participate in the 26 Week Challenge.
The challenge begins Wednesday. Teams will conduct their challenge independently, meaning how they choose to improve and measure the health and wellness of their team will be in accordance with Performance Triad guidance. The Performance Triad team will be the judge of which team's story will win for the month. The winning teams' wellness story will be showcased all over Fort Carson and they will win the "Performance Triad Trophy" for the month. Creativity, outcomes, increase in performance, both subjective and objective, will be considered in choosing the winner. "Trash talk" (friendly banter) is highly encouraged. The team who shows the greatest improvement (activity, nutrition and sleep) over the 26 weeks will be deemed the champion and win the Trophy.
Tenant units across Fort Carson are encouraged to participate in the challenge.
The Army Wellness Center will coordinate "Wellness Wednesdays" for the 26 weeks. These events will include classes, activities and challenges that
will follow the 26 Week Challenge calendar. More information can be found in the Fort Carson Army Wellness Center's Facebook page.
