The North Dakota Guardian is a 24-page, quarterly magazine produced by the North Dakota National Guard Public Affairs Office. It is military-funded and printed at Quality Printing in Bismarck, N.D., using a four-color process on 8-1/2 x 11” pages. This publication has a circulation of 7,500.
The North Dakota Guardian is, primarily, printed for the Soldiers and Airmen of the North Dakota National Guard, but its readership extends to Guard Families, retirees, the congressional delegation and National Guard Public Affairs offices across the country. The North Dakota National Guard is a dynamic, relevant force where everyone is a trained, mentored and empowered leader and able to respond effectively for both federal and stateside mobilizations.
While the North Dakota Guardian is intended for a military audience, we realize that Families of our Soldiers and Airmen also rely on the publication for summaries on the wide range of benefits offered to military members as well as significant training events and mobilizations that affect our force. We strive to make our content entertaining, engaging and useful by creating attractive layouts and writing stories that demonstrate our citizen-Soldiers’ and Airmen’s unique contributions to communities across the state and world.
