MEDDAC Bavaria leaders take part in 2026 Day of the Bundeswehr celebration
WEIDEN, Germany — U. S. Army Medical Department Activity Bavaria senior leaders participated in the Day of the Bundeswehr (Tag der Bundeswehr) open-house on June 6 at Major Radloff Kaserne in Weiden, Germany. Taking part in the festivities were U.S. Army Col. Colin Frament and Command Sgt. Maj. Ilker Irmak. The widely attended annual open-house event, hosted by the German military at several locations nationwide, is designed to familiarize citizens with military equipment and personnel. The event drew approximately 16,000 visitors from across Northern Bavaria.
