Innovative Readiness Training, otherwise known as IRT, is a DoD military training opportunity that partners with the community to provide various services. During this mission, Healthy Tennesseans, military members joined forces to provide medical, dental, vision, veterinary, and medical services to the community at no cost, while also conducting training opportunities that increased deployment readiness. The medical clinic ran from June 3rd through June 12th, 2023 at Rhea County Middle School and Bledsoe County High School in Tennessee.
LIHUE, Hawaii ā€“ A flight surgeon from 149th Medical Group provided urgent care to a car crash victim while on active-duty orders for Tropic Care Innovative Readiness Training 2022 on the island of Kauai.
One of the ways personnel from the 149th Operations Group and Maintenance Group remain mission-dominant and combat-ready is by mastering night operations. F-16 pilots and their support crews train under various conditions so they are prepared for any situation.
