DANNELLY FIELD, Ala. – The 187th Fighter Wing, home of the Red Tails received the first TR-3 F-35A Lightning II from Lockheed Martin on July 19, 2024.
The 187th Fighter Wing conducted an active shooter exercise with the
Montgomery Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics team, September 20, 2023.
The combined effort was designed to evaluate performance gaps related to command-and-control methodology, determine limitations between the participants, build relationships, and develop effective communications between all entities.
