The 1st Combat Camera Squadron’s Training Flight director, retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Tim Bailey, has been one of the unit’s keys to continuity for nearly 20 years at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.
Torres paints the walls of the public dorm kitchens with the hope of increasing morale in the residential Airman of the dorms. She also paints in order to relive her own stress as she finds painting to be soothing after a long, stressful day of work. Her end goal: include more Airmen with her creative outlet to give them morale and motivation.
“I better get up and take some Tylenol or something before this headache kicks in,” I said. “Let me take care of myself before I have to answer for whatever it is I’m sure I’ve done.”
