In recognition of March being Women’s History Month, the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118) formed an all-female bridge team to stand the watch during a replenishment-at-sea, March 4, 2024.
The U.S. Navy is comprised of countless working components, the most crucial being its personnel. Aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), every Sailor works diligently to fulfill their duties to complete the mission while still making sure they maintain a healthy battle rhythm.
With a crew of more than 350 Sailors and less than 30 of them facilitating air operations, it’s up to Chief Aviation Electrician’s Mate James Wardrobe to make sure things run smoothly aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70).
