The American Council on Education (ACE) launched a modernized Military Guide that will help military-connected students easily find college credit for their military education and training and enable academic institutions to readily evaluate ACE credit recommendations and make credit awards.
Thirteen colleges and universities nationwide participated in a pilot project involving a modernized American Council on Education (ACE) Military Guide. The initiative is part of ACEā€™s defense contract administered by the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).
Pensacola, Fla.- The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) and the Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) announced the realignment of DANTES from the U.S. Navy to the Department of Defense (DoD) effective Oct. 1, 2017.
The change officially makes DANTES a component of DHRA and should be transparent to DoD service members and U.S. Coast Guard members who use DANTES education support programs every day.
