The Marine Corps' newest advertising campaign, Shifting Threats, showcases the increasingly complex and chaotic global environment that Marines are currently operating in, characterized by “un” threats: unpredictable, unimaginable, unknown and undeclared. The campaign conveys a single premise: Against ever-evolving threats, our Nation’s greatest asset is the adaptable skillset of Marines who fight and win.

Sgt Joshua Griffin a native of Charlotte N.C. was originally the embarkation chief and training Non-Commissioned Officer for Combat Logistics Battalion - 451. Though, after meeting GySgt. Justin Baldwin, a seasoned Prior Service Recruiter stationed in Charlotte, he became inspired by his leadership and professionalism. Griffin made it his mission to one day reach that same level.
On February 23rd, 2025, the City of Chicago and veterans from across Chicagoland honored the Marines of World War II and the 80th anniversary of the flag raising on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima by laying a wreath next to the Eternal Flame in the heart of Daley Plaza.
