Former Chicago White Sox player, Michael Huff and Navy Talent Acquisition Group Great Lakes Command Master Chief Nathan Hon visited Division 298 at Recruit Training Command on the night before graduation. The division was sponsored by NTAG Great Lakes and part of the 38th annual White Sox Navy Night. Huff shared words of encouragement with Sailors and stories from his time in baseball.

The Educators Orientation Visit (EOV) allows guests to go into restricted areas and experience military life firsthand. NTAG Great Lakes is working to make this a reoccurring experience throughout the year.
Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Great Lakes held a change of command ceremony at Naval Station Great Lakes in North Chicago, Illinois, October 6. Cmdr. Eric Rolfs relieved Cmdr. Matthew Sass as commanding officer. Sass has served as the commanding officer of NTAG Great Lakes since March 2022. Capt. Robert L. Moran, Commodore, Navy Recruiting Command Region West, was the presiding officer at the ceremony.
