Soldiers of the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment based in Vilseck, Germany, have been training for the past three months in Romania and Bulgaria as part of their preparations for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan this spring.
The U.S. Army 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, out of Vilseck, Germany, and Bulgarian Land Forces 61st Mechanized Brigade from Karlovo practiced a raid on a suspected enemy hideout during military operations on urban terrain training here Sept. 17.
