The last operational HC-144 Alpha, designated 2313, took its first test flight on 18 June 2024, after being upgraded at the Aviation Logistics Center. This marks the completion of upgrades for the entire 18-aircraft fleet, enhancing the Coast Guard’s maritime mission capabilities.
On 1 May 2024, the Coast Guard's last MH-65D Dolphin helicopter landed at ALC, completing the upgrade of the fleet to the enhanced E variant, with the Delta variants having flown 440,217 hours, conducted 29,122 SAR sorties, and rescued 6,300 people.
The second-to-last MH-65 Delta in the USCG fleet completed its final flight on April 4, 2024, flying in formation with the MH-65 Echo to honor its decade of service before entering disassembly at the Aviation Logistics Center.
