Naval planners from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States met in Vancouver, Canada to coordinate the next year’s worth of surface navy operations in the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans.
From May 29 to June 21, 2024, Midshipmen hailing from the U.S. Naval Academy and various Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) programs, embarked on the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), for a Midshipman Summer Cruise to receive hands-on training in the fleet while having the opportunity to catch a glimpse into their futures as junior officers.
