Italian air drops deliver vital supplies to forward operating bases in Badghis Province from Camp Arena in Herat, Afghanistan. These supplies, upon delivery, are convoyed out to smaller combat outposts, supplying soldiers maintaining the murghab security bubble.The Italian Air Force and Army must work together to make the mission work. The Army receives, pallets and prepares the supplies for air drop. The Air Force loads the C-130 and conducts the drop.
