Interview and b-roll of Sergeant Matthew Broman (from Aurora, Nebraska), assigned to the 518th Guntruck Company (Provisional) at Camp Navistar, Kuwait. Sergeant Broman talks about day-to-day duties of maintaining vehicles and weapons. As a team leader, he ensures all preparations are made for the team to provide security for a convoy into Iraq at short notice. Talks about his time in the Nebraska National Guard, previous assignments and training, and reasons for joining the Army. Has only been at the unit for a month, but has already escorted convoys that have been under small arms and mortar fire. He volunteered to serve in the company because he likes the excitement and sees something new everyday. Talks about the importance of taking care of details and doing the job right, and that he has to be ready for anything when they cross the border from Kuwait into Iraq.
