Since 1993, White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico has held the Bataan Memorial Death March, an annual marathon honoring those who defended the Phillipine Islands during World War II. April 9th marks the 69th anniversary of the original tragedy. Andrew Branstad introduces us to one local veteran who experienced the events of Bataan firsthand. Includes soundbites from former Cpl. Richard Trask - Bataan death march survivor and Sgt. 1st Class Christine Wilkens - Bataan memorial marcher.
