Most weapons reloading on rotary aircraft takes place on the forward arming and refueling point. Now since the Afghan airmen of the Kandahar Air Wing have a weapons loading point to load onto a dormant aircraft, they can complete a mission from start to finish independently. Air Force Sgt. George Maddon takes us to be a part of one such mission.
B-roll footage includes footage in the classroom, instruction on the flightline, helicopters in flight and interviews with a commander and a class participant. Includes soundbites from Lt. Col. Fred Koegler - commander, 441st Air Expeditionary Advisor Squadron, from La Crescenta, Calif., and 1st Lt. Faiz Ahmed - weapons accounter, Kandahar Air Wing. Produced by Tech. Sgt. George Maddon. Also available in high definition.
