Every year the Air Force holds the Air Force marathon in conjunction with the Air Force’s birthday at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. Deployed locations like the Transit Center at Manas have joined in the tradition since Airmen from these locations can’t simply take vacation time to go to Ohio.
