Marines with 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit use techniques to search for improvised explosive devices here Dec. 16 during a 10-day round robin training exercise. The Camp Pendleton, Calif., based unit deployed from San Diego Nov. 14th aboard the USS Makin Island, USS New Orleans and USS Pearl Harbor and arrived in Singapore Dec. 12th as part of a regularly scheduled deployment to the western Pacific and Middle East regions.
