Fifty-four mortuary affairs Soldiers from the 54th Quartermaster Company are welcomed home by family and friends at Fort Lee, Va., during a redeployment ceremony March 7, 2012, after six months in the Middle East. Based in Kuwait, the detachment supported Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and the final months of Operation New Dawn in Iraq. They were tasked with the solemn duty of bringing home with honor and dignity the remains of America's fallen heroes. Video includes interviews with detachment commander, NCO and family members.
