Members of the U.S. Marine Corps 1st Battalion, 9th Marines brought insight and perspective to the people of New York during a Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) demonstration at Flushing Meadows Park, May 27. The demonstration included the landing of an MV-22B Osprey, a staged ground assault, tours of the Osprey and Marines on hand talking to visitors and displaying their gear. Includes interview with Sgt. Jack Lathem, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, Lawton, Okla. and Liz Powell, Queens, N.Y.
