During the Lisbon Summit in 2010, Alliance leaders agreed they wanted a leaner NATO Command Structure that is more affordable and more deployable on operations. The new structure represents a significant reduction in the number of military headquarters and a manpower savings of about 30 percent. In this time of economic austerity the Alliance is becoming more affordable and more deployable by restructuring the NATO Command Structure. Produced by Karsten Reiniers. Also available in High Definition.
