B-roll from a change of command for a unit from the Botswana Defence Force in conjunction with the beginning of Southern Accord 12. Southern Accord 12 is joint exercise of more than 1,200 personnel from the Republic of Botswana and the U.S. The U.S. personnel were invited to the ceremony as a demonstration in partnership prior to the beginning of the exercise. This is only the third change of command for the BDF, since its inception in 1977.
