Says Iraqis must control their borders and protect their own country. United States will help, but Iraqis have to carry the biggest load. Says tough training and good leaders make Soldiers, not equipment. When Shiite and Sunnis join Iraqi Forces, they're loyalty should only be to the Army. LTG Metz recalls when he was stationed in Korea with 2nd Infantry Division, the Koreans were interested in the US military equipment because they knew of its success at Desert Storm/Shield.
