Matrose SanOA (Midshipman) Johanna Gottschalk, German Navy, aboard the FGS Frankfurt a.M. Main (A1412 German Navy) in the Baltic Sea on Monday 03 September 2012. Johanna, from Uckermark, Germany, is a trainee aboard the ship prior to going to university to become a doctor. Exercise DANEX-NOCO 2012 is a combined Danish-German naval exercise with 15 participating nations and nearly 50 ships operating off the Danish coast from 3 to 12 September. The aim of the exercise is to allow the units to experience and train within a multinational naval force. In addition to the ships there are helicopters and aircraft from Denmark, Germany, USA, France and Sweden, as well as a large number of other Navy units. Also available in high definition.
