Trudging through piles of mud, chunky mud mixed with water, mud smeared on barbed wire and more and more mud provided Soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division a team building and messy challenge during a recent tough mudder obstacle course. Soldiers raced in groups ranging from a one to four or five man teams during the 12 mile, 12 obstacle challenge, but the events main goal is more about the care of Soldiers rather than the fastest time.
