U.S. Marines and Sailors with Headquarters Company, Regimental Combat Team 7, participate in counter improvised explosive device (CIED) lane training aboard Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Oct. 15, 2012. The CIED lane training familiarized the Marines with fundamentals to include: unexploded ordnance recognition, enemy tactics, homemade explosives, threat detection, ground sign awareness, and downed vehicle procedures.
