The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NewYork District Caven Point Marine Terminal in Jersey City, NJ received an extensive amount of damage from the storm surge caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Even with the damage to the facilities the Corps of Engineers continues to support the drift removal and survey missions in the New York Harbor.
