KING (Seattle) reporter Pat McReynolds, embedded with an Air Force unit from McChord Air Force Base, WA, talks with his station from LSA Anaconda in Balad. He describes a mortar explosion that just happened before they went on the air and shows video of a C-17 that dropped flares as it was landing to protect it from any missile attack. A siren sounds at the end to signal "all clear" from the mortar attack and a couple Soldiers take off their protective equipment. Video from KING.
