Pfc. Timothy M. Borner discusses his experience as a high school student at the National Guard Patriot Academy at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex in Butlerville, Ind. Borner is a graduate of the last class of the Patriot Academy which began as a pilot program in 2009 to offer a second chance to new recruits to earn their high school diplomas and serve their country. The program will close its doors and case its organizational colors in January, 2013. Borner is a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard and has dedicated his life to helping other people. He plans to further his education and work with mentally challenged children. Available in High Definition.
