Iraqi Security Forces discover an improvised explosive device factory in Salman Pak while searching for hostages reportedly taken by insurgents. Soviet-made bombs are laid out in rows and crates of equipment for making improvised explosive devices line the walls. U.S. Soldiers from an Explosive Ordnance Detonation Company prepare to detonate the cache and moments later smoke billows from the cache being destroyed.
