B-Roll of 124th Air Support Operations Squadron Joint Tactical Air Control airmen taking a familiarization flight on an F-16 assigned to the 310th Fighter Squadron. Airmen who have been providing ground control for aircraft at the range are given the opportunity to see what it is like to drop bombs and conduct strafing runs from the air. The unique perspective gives the JTAC’s a better understanding of their job helping provide close air support during ground combat operations.
