Each year, the Marine Band presents programs designed to entertain and challenge music students throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This year’s program takes place from Feb. 18 through March 15 and includes educational presentations as well as an opportunity for students to play for the Marine musicians and receive valuable guidance on chamber music performance. During the presentation, Marine Band musicians perform a wide range of music geared specifically toward high school level musicians participating in band, orchestra, or choral programs. The 2013 ensemble options include brass quintet, jazz combo, and a clinic for choirs led by the band’s two vocalists.
