U.S. Air Force medical personnel from the 437th Medical Group, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., receive Patient Movement Item (PMI) training during Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) 13-04, at Ft. Polk, La., Feb. 19, 2013. JRTC provides Aeromedical Evacuation forces with a premier training platform in a simulated combat environment. Joint training with the U.S. Army, Air Force and a Navy patient records specialist (on this rotation), enables participants the opportunity to experience the joint nature of a team in a large mission rehearsal exercise that encompasses the full spectrum of operations to mid intensity conflict.
