Corporals course is meant to provide Marines with the basic leadership skills as NCOs, a chance to learn war-fighting tactics, and further enhance their understanding and embodiment of the Marine Corps’ core values of honor, courage and commitment. Marine sergeant Daniel Hernandez is a corporal’s course instructor who has lead over 40 Marines through this training.
Part of the training consists of shooting table three on the range and executing military operations in urban terrain. Once the marines have completed the course they will have learned better communication skills, have a fundamentally sound understanding of leadership traits and the ability to apply operational risk management principles.
A Marine knows that no matter the circumstances the mission must be completed to the best of their ability.
