On opening day for the D.C. Nationals, Guardsmen from the Washington D.C. National Guard volunteered to help stretch out a thousand pound flag in the outfield. The flag which took about 75 guardsmen to hold was met by patriotic cheers. Story by Tech. Sgt. Charles Givens.
