Spouses of Marines with Marine Aircraft Group 16 attended Jane Wayne Day to learn what it means to be a Marine, and spend a day in their husbands' boots. During the event they met drill instructors, shot simulated M-16A4 service rifles and M9 pistols, flew in MV-22B Osprey simulators and watched a dog demonstration. The Marine spouses were able to learn self-defense techniques with Marine Corps Martial Arts Program instructors.
