US military veterinarians are assisting Salvadoran ranchers to vaccinate their livestock as part of Beyond the Horizon, a US Southern command sponsored, Army South led, joint foreign military interaction and humanitarian exercise occurring until late June. These vets, along with engineers that are building schools, and medical professionals, that are conducting free medical clinics, are providing humanitarian aid as part of this multi-national mission that includes military professionals from US, Canada, Colombia, Chile and El Salvador. The vet portion of the mission will eventually vaccinate and treat thousands of animals, that these people rely upon to live. The mission has occurred before in years past and will continue as part of the State Partnership Program, where US states partner with foreign nations. Available in high definition.
