NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard Cutter Margaret Norvell was commissioned June 1, 2013 at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans. The Norvell is the Coast Guard's fifth fast response cutter and represents the fleet's newest capabilities. The fast response cutters are named after enlisted Coast Guard heroes.
