During South Dakota National Guard's 29th Annual Golden Coyote joint training exercise being held near Rapid City, S.D, the 407th Civil Affairs Battalion, an Army Reserve unit from Minnesota, provided vaccinations for pets of the Cheyenne River Lakota Indian Reservation. The clinic not only provided the vaccinations free-of-charge but also aloud soldiers the opportunity to teach about the importance of pet vaccinations to the health of all those on the reservation. The Golden Coyote training exercise runs through June 22nd. Story by Army Sergeant Matthew Keeler.
