When disaster strikes, the National Guard is often there to help by providing search and rescue, medical care, and security assistance. Recently, 28 Hawaii National Guardsmen demonstrated their role in an actual disaster as extras in the upcoming production of Godzilla, being filmed partly in Waikiki. Story by Tech. Sgt.
