Nearly three hundred Hawaii National Guard Soldiers and Airmen recently took a day to develop the noncommissioned officer corp at the inaugural joint NCO conference themed "Back to the Basics" at the Hawaii National Guard Regional Training Institute in Bellows Air Force Station. The conference included presentations from the senior enlisted members from Hawaii, Command Chief Master Sargent Robert Lee, and Command Sargent Major Ronald Oshiba, and a key-note address from the recently retired Senior Enlisted Leader of the National Guard Chief Master Sergeant Denise M. Jelinski-Hall. Her address focused on the importance of hard work, determination, and faith as she walked the NCOs thorough the ups and downs of her Air Force career. Available in high definition.
