    Marines with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, conduct fast rope training from CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters, Oct. 9, 2013. Footage includes slow motion sequences of helicopters. Fast roping is a technique that troops use to enter an area from a helicopter by descending from a rope. It enables Marines to quickly reach an area without landing an aircraft. The battalion is schedule to deploy next spring with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in Okinawa, Japan. Available in high definition.
