Next year, the command of the NATO Response Force will pass to Allied Joint Force Command, which is based in Brunssum in the Netherlands. We learn how its staff are being put to the test during Exercise Steadfast Jazz 2013. They need to demonstrate that they are able to run joint operations involving land, sea and air forces in response to the full range of crisis situations. A Joint Operations Center has been set up in a temporary military headquarters in Riga, Latvia, where all information from the field is centralized and distributed to the appropriate decision-makers in the Command and Control Headquarters. This version includes graphics and voiceover.
