U.S. Air Force and Army service members with Joint Special Operations Task Force Philippines (JSOTF-P) prepare to transition support of the city of Ormoc over to the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Australian military on 22 November 2013. The Department of Defense maintains significant capability forward deployed throughout the Asia-Pacific region ready to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
