U.S. Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and U.S. Navy Sailors with the USS Bataan (LHD 5) participate in a community relations event in Lisbon, Portugual, Feb. 28, 2014. The Marines and Sailors picked oranges for a local food bank and volunteered at a local convent. The MEU is deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious mission across the full range of military operations.
