B-roll and interview primecuts from Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay as Hawaii-based Marines prepare to join a force of approximately 1,150 U.S. service members who are departing on a six-month deployment to Northern Territory, Australia, as part of the second phase of Marine Rotational Force - Darwin. New to this rotation, an Aviation Combat Element (ACE) deployed from Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The service members are scheduled to arrive by March 28, and will be hosted at Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin. The ACE consists of approximately 100 service members and four CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 (HMH-463) and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24 (MALS-24).
