on March 14th…we lost a pioneer in the U.S. Army Reserve history. Dr. Lee S. Harford passed away at the age of 62, after a sudden and brief illness. Harford served as the first director of history for the U.S. Army Reserve, starting in march 1992. Senior civilian and military leaders and a co-worker share their feelings about the passing of this extraordinary historian who will be missed by the Army Reserve.
The 372nd Engineer Brigade was awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation in Bloomington, Minnesota, for their service in Afghanistan.
Soldiers and airmen from units all across the Los Angeles area…joined together with Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers alumni to help put together care packages for military members deployed overseas.
