COL James Danna, COL Randell Wickman, Army Reserves Ambassador’s Stan Fleming and MaryAnn Miller.
What: US. Army Reserve 106th Birthday. The event included the ceremonial cake cutting by SFC Reyna and SGT Longla with refreshments at the Schwab Reserve Center. MG Dahl was in attendance. COL Wickman shared the US Army Reserve history while COL Danna relayed a personal message from MG (R) J. Collins Civilian Aid to Sectary of the Army of Washington State and former Reserve Soldier. Ambassador Fleming shared a personal reflective account of the dedication and sacrifices of the “Citizen Soldier” to include himself and his son a current reserve Soldier who was injured while serving in Afghanistan.

Why: To recognize the achievements of the Army Reserve over the past 106 years of service and to celebrate the men and women who have sacrificed so much to provide for our freedom
